FAQs

Prime Concrete Coatings

  • What is the difference between epoxy and polyurea flooring?

Epoxy forms a rigid, glass-like surface that may crack or separate when concrete shifts. In contrast, polyurea remains flexible after curing, allowing it to adapt to the concrete's natural movement. This flexibility enables polyurea to maintain a more durable, long-lasting bond with the concrete base compared to the more brittle epoxy coatings.
  • What is the average cost of a concrete coating?

Concrete coating costs vary widely depending on project size and complexity. Factors such as surface preparation needs, coating type, area to be covered, and site conditions influence pricing. We offer complimentary estimates after assessing your specific project to provide accurate, customized pricing.
  • How do I maintain my concrete coating?

Maintenance for our concrete coatings is minimal. Regular cleaning with soap and water is typically all that's required to keep your coated surface in excellent condition.
  • How far will you travel?

Our service area encompasses the tri-state region and beyond. If you're uncertain whether we service your location, please contact us. We'd be glad to discuss your project and explore how we can assist you.

  • Can your products be applied to indoor and outdoor spaces?

Indeed, our products are suitable for both interior and exterior applications. We carefully select the appropriate coating system based on your specific environment, whether it's a garage floor, basement, patio, or commercial space, to ensure optimal performance and longevity in each unique setting.
  • Can you use your product on exposed aggregate?

We don't apply our coating products directly to exposed aggregate surfaces as they require a smooth substrate for proper adhesion. However, we can clean and protect exposed aggregate through power washing and sealing, which maintains its natural texture and appearance.
  • Do you require a down payment/deposit for jobs?

Yes, we require a 25% deposit to reserve your project on our schedule.
  • What do I do with my stuff while the job is being completed?

We recognize the need for secure storage during your project. We offer a 24-foot enclosed trailer that can be delivered to your property before work commences, providing a safe storage solution throughout the job. A deposit may be necessary depending on your location. Please contact us to discuss availability, timing, and pricing for this service.
